Our 3 bedroom self catering gite Les Blondeaux is situated in the small hamlet of Le Chatenet ,St Amant de Bonnieure in the Department of La Charente.
It is some 5kms from Mansle,25km north of Angouleme and some 80km south of Poitiers.
Travel by Car
Travel from Calais or the tunnel takes approx 6.5 hours, approx 700 kms, most of which is either Motorway or dual carriageway.
From Caen it is approx 4 hours,280 miles, mostly motorway or dual carraigway.
Travel by Air
Our gite is a 15 minute drive from Angouleme airport,which is a new route starting in April 2008 from London Stansted with Ryanair.
Limoges airport is a one hour drive away with flights from London Stansted,Liverpool East Midlands Southampton and Newcastle
Poitiers airport is also an hours drive with flights from London Stansted and Birmingham
La Rochelle airport is a two hour drive with flights from Bristol,Birmingham,Manchester,Southampton Glasgow and Edinburgh
